"I am not a user of this service, but I am convinced that I need to sign up for an account. Venmo seems like a really useful and very convenient way to share money between friends -- kind of like a more informal Paypal. It solves the problem I often face, of wanting to split a tab but having no cash in my wallet. "

"Transferwise is an amazing resource for transferring money across the world. Its conversion of money (i.e. from dollars to pounds) is accurate, so I never had to worry about any hidden charges. It's also very secure! Unfortunately, the vast majority of my money transfers are domestic (within the US), so Transferwise isn't necessarily the best fit for my needs as it has lots of functionality that I just don't need to use."

However, what is working in the aesthetic department is not working in the actual functionality of the site. The fees to send money are astronomical, and are not something that I am willing to pay."
