"I think this is a great source for turning photos into art but it seems very limited in that it seems like it would only be good for someone who wants to have their photo transformed into a painting. Otherwise if one wanted to do other things like make a photo collage this site wouldn't be of much use."

"Prisma is a great resource for turning photo into art. It's a free app that I have fun with. I love the filters and effects on this app. I can play with this app all day. It's definitely a must-have."

Did you know that you can now turn a photo into art in an instant? The geniuses in technology and gadgets have developed apps that would help you achieve art on your photo at any moment that you may want. Alexei Moiseyenkov, the brainchild of the tech entrepreneur, has invented one of those apps called Prisma that could transform a photo into a contemporary art. Gone are the days that a person should traditionally paint and execute his creativity. The rise of technology has come before us that might provide advantages to the development of arts and humanities.

With Prisma, you should merely install the app, modify its chosen photo through a style of your own choice, then instantly save it on your gallery. You can also share it on your social media accounts if you would like to. Aside from its ingenious style solution, Prisma also offers a lot of advantages to today's generation. It is free of cost so anyone could download it and install; it is also user-friendly since its features are easy to navigate; the use of it could also allow you not to include watermarks on your photos; and among those, it provides twenty legendary art filters that could cater to your artistic needs.

"PicMonkey is not very appealing to me. I do not like the amount of pop ups within the first minute on the page. I can't get a very clear idea of what the allow other than app downloads on a phone and the way a membership is pushed on me is very unappealing."

"It's a decent enough app I guess. It doesn't do anything that a thousand other apps also do, but it does a fine job of it. I don't have a reason to recommend this app over any other, but since it does what it claims and does it well I certainly don't have a reason to not recommend it. All in all it's a good app for an overused concept."

"As a graphic designer I find this program/app as watered down one could get. Simply putting text over a graphic is not design much less art. The end results are generic, etsy-esse and uninteresting. If you are looking for a simple app that will let you put a filter on a image and text over it look no further but if you want more capabilities this is not the solution."
