"Zomato was a lifesaver for me. I was on a flight from LAX to Burbank and because of an anti-Trump rally we were diverted to the Philippines for a 5 hour layover. Luckily I had downloaded Zomato on my iphone and able to find a restaurant that delivered, thus saving me from having to eat an airport meal. Cudos Zomato for saving my taste buds again."

"What would I do without Yelp? Would I starve? Probably not, but I am definitely better fed for using it. It is so easy and intuitive to find new restaurants to try, review restaurants I love (or hate), and find tons of info about the rest. I wonder if they have a sections for gyms.... I'll have to look into that. "

"I've always wanted to find more restaurants outside of the usuals, like yelp where reviews are paid and very biased. RestaurantFinder has shown us many new hole in the wall places we haven't been to before and we found the mapping to be more accurate than a few of the other apps. The UI is sleek and clean and really user friendly. The most important part for me, is that the reviews aren't controlled by the company, but by the users."

"If you're traveling or just a curious person who likes to try new spots, this the perfect thing for you. You can look up anyplace you see you might like, or just search for what's around you that might be good. The reviews are pretty reliable in my experience, so why take a chance on having a bad meal or experience. "

"I don't like any of the food discover apps. They all are terrible, and can't be trusted because of paid reviews. This app has everything you need information wise, and you can trust the reputation represented on the page. It's difficult to find restaurants that I like, and I finally found the right app to do the job. "

"Foodspotting is fantastic app for locating quality restaurants when you're on the go. The photos are almost always super high quality and really showcase what a place has to offer, think of it as a bit of an upscale Yelp. It's great to be in a new city and pull it up to see all the great places nearby. You can also search by the type of food as well as location. It's easy to upload your own shots to add to the database as well. "

"I admit it, I'm a self appointed "foodie". I am ALWAYS on a quest to find new and unique places to eat, especially while traveling to new cities. But one of the hardest things to figure out now that there are 100's of blogs, vlogs and internet reviews, which ones are telling the truth and which ones aren't. There is ONE that you can not go wrong with and that the Michelin Restaurant channel. If you are looking for a new place to eat with amazing food or even to try one of their recipes at home, this is the place for you. I give it ***** 5/5 stars!"

"This is an interesting concept, I am a big fan of it. But, it's not a great solution for this problem. It's good if you are going somewhere in London, or some other popular spot, and want to take a look at some of the offerings...but if you are purely trying to discover, nothing beats Yelp and the like. The issue is they don't have a huge huge selection, and if you are looking for stuff in a random town, they likely will not have what you need. So basically, if you live in a big populated area like New York or something, it'll probably help you, but I myself live in some little ramshackle town, and can't find anything remotely close to me on this."
