"Ok, my teenage son wants to be a rockstar. He bought this. He is self-teaching how to play and this is a great tool. I advised him to watch YouTube videos or take lessons, but he wanted to spend his hard-earned money on this. I don't know a lot about guitar, but I know he has been isolating guitar through this machine on his favorite songs and is able to play them. He started out by playing along, now he does the solos himself. How do I know all this you ask? Because I listen to it throughout my whole house every day--not because he shares what he's up to with his mommy."

"Unlike other archive sites where incorrect tabs are prevalent and remain available online, this doesn’t seem to be the case at Songsterr. It seems to me that Songsterr checks all tabs to ensure accuracy. Songsterr is legal as well because the site’s paid subscribers allow Songsterr to pay royalties to artists. There are two plans available for users, one Free and one is termed Plus."

"When I was a kid and an aspiring guitar hero, you would have to buy songbooks for each individual artist or album to see the chords of which songs were made. Now that information is freely available on the web, and on sites like Guitar Tab universe, a crowdsourced archive of tabs and chords for thousands of your favorite songs. It's not the prettiest site to look at and the tab information presented can be a bit confusing. But it's free, and practical, and opens a lot of possiblities for playing. Highly recommended."

"I took guitar for a few years when I was a kid and I really struggled with where to put my fingers and the sound I was supposed to be getting when I was playing. I thoroughly enjoyed this site as it would show me exactly where to place my fingers and by clicking on the strum button, I could hear exactly what it was supposed to sound like. I also really enjoyed that I could hear it in both acoustic and electric guitar to get each with their unique sound. I highly recommend this site to anyone learning to play the guitar."
