"I think the video provided is substantial enough to teach the basics of computerized charting, but I think the speaker isn't really engaging enough to keep my attention. There are a few abrupt cuts which could be made less awkward by a second of pause or transition into the next instructions. But, as a barebones introduction to computerized charting, it works just fine."

"My sister is studying to be a nurse. The problem is when comes to using a computer she becomes apprehensive and it takes her a bit longer to learn how to different software. So she came to me to see if I can find her some additional resources to help her learn computerized charting, so she could learn on practice using on her own. I suggested she try a video tutorial I found on the Practice Fusion website for charting a patient's encounter. Though she is struggling a bit with the content I think she is making some progress in learning the process."

"In another time I did a lot of documentation or provided info for the therapist I was working with to do it. But it was handwritten. This tutorial is very helpful for learning how to properly document in this day and time. I found it quite valuable as a learning tool in how to correctly use this process. It gives you shortcut and other little techniques that I find very valuable."

"There's over an hour here of information related to Patient Charting and Documentation. I wouldn't call it exciting or invigorating, but I would call it comprehensive. I haven't sat through hours of the competition, so it's hard to call it one of the best, but it's certainly a good start."

"As a nurse practitioner, I'm familiar with the hassle of patient charts. It's really hard to keep track of dozens or even hundreds of data points, per-patient, many of which are encoded in dizzying lingo. This guide, by Modern Medicine.com, is a great start for anyone trying to figure this out. But it is just that - a start. Unfortunately, there is no substitute for experience, and much of what it says really won't make sense until you're in the thick of things. But still - start here!"
