"Rosetta Stone is the go-to for language learning, and honestly, it's for a REASON. While a lot of software are basically glorified dictionaries and grammar lessons, this is the only platform I've found that actually helps you think in another language, creating an immersive experience. It's like living in another language speaking country for half an hour or an hour at a time. When I got a promotion to an office in Israel, I was really worried about the language barrier. But in months, I was conversing with native speakers perfectly fine. A must-have!"

With the use of Loecsen, I can order my sandwich in confidence and make the experience more enjoyable both for them and for me. The website is in Spanish but she speaks fluent English, too.

"I came across Hebreo4u when looking for online tools to learn Hebrew. If you speak Spanish (as some of my friends do who are also trying to learn Hebrew), then this would be best suited for you – otherwise, it won’t be as nearly easy to navigate through the site. The teacher herself speaks fluent English and can do personal teaching, but it’s nice to have the site in a language you understand. I’d recommend things like RosettaStone or other sites in English if you are looking to learn Hebrew and don’t speak Spanish as a fluent language."

Once you find those people to practice with and learn from via Skype, then you have no excuse to not make progress as quickly as possible, which your speed depending on how many spoken sessions you get and how intensively you are learning. I love the convenience of doing this from home."

"Not something I'd ever recommend. For one, most of the info on the site is basically, how do I greet people and how do I speak to taxi drivers or cashiers. More importantly though, there's just nothing for Hebrew here. Plenty of great resources for learning Hebrew online but this is not one of them."
