"Im not sure if I like this movie better than Carpenter's version but Im sure that I enjoued watching it with my wife.. Many people say that it's a low-class slasher film but I beg to differ. It's not that bad actually as I want to give credits to Zombie for a decent remake.."

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that Rob Zombie had several highly-anticipated horror projects that he almost directed? For one, the White Zombie vocalist was slated to direct The Crow: 2037. It would've been the sequel to the thriller film The Crow: City of Angels, and would've been his directorial debut. Although the motion picture was not produced, Zombie wrote the script for the film. Another horror movie where he was almost the director was the remake of The Blob. It is despite the fact that Rob Zombie noted that he has no plans to ever remake another filmmaker's piece. In 2009, he's reportedly making his own interpretation of The Blob. But due to the underwhelming result of his movies Halloween and Halloween II, he went back to his promise of never doing a remake.

Another project that he was developing was a TV series about the Manson family back in 2014. It was supposed to be a FOX series and a collaboration between him and American writer Bret Easton Ellis. But it was not long before Ellis revealed that the news about it on social media led to NBC to release "Aquarius", a Manson-inspired TV series. In spite of these canceled projects, there are still Rob Zombie movies that you can watch instead. But if given a chance, what Rob Zombie project would you like to see on the big screen?

"While this is a Rob Zombie movie and that fits what I want I don't really think this is one of the better ones as it is an animated movie and not live action. Overall though not a bad solution as it fits what I asked for."

"It took so long for Zombie to release a sequel!!! I was single when I first watched the House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Reject and now I'm sure I'll watch this with my fiance. Lol. Just with the trailer, it seems like the twists and scares are back. I wonder what Zombie has in store for his viewers? 💁‍♂️"
