"Swan Song, a winner for the Bram Stoker award for Best Novel in 1988, tells the story of a post-apocalyptic United States and the quest for survival of good against evil. Filled with very strong characters on a quest to saving a girl named Swan from the violence and evil surrounding this world that has barely survived nuclear holocaust. It has it’s sweet moments, but is also vividly intense and horrific. I was scared, and honestly a little grossed out, but that made it more fun!"

"If you consider yourself a fan of author Robert McCammon, then check out Gone South. I have read a lot of fiction by this writer, and I am never disappointed. I was looking for something a little edgy and thrilling, and this tale suited my tastes. I was on the edge of my seat during this read-through. I have to say that it is in my top 3 for McCammon stories."

"From the writer of Swan Song comes another intricately woven story with detailed characters and a quite interesting plot. The story follows a hunt and draws the reader in with a thrilling premise. It leaves room for another book to follow, I think there's more to be told here. This keeps the reader invested and wanting more."

"A well designed book with a combination of suspense and history. The writing style takes you back to early New York city in a way that your history lessons did not. The main character is developed great, there is more than meets the eye to him. A series that will captivate you and leave to wanting more."
