"I think Dungeons and Dragons is one of the best role playing games out there. It allows you to use your creativity to come up with a scenario. You take on the player and you become them and try to figure out what they would do in the situation. I love it for that reason. I get to be someone different. I love that I can be come absorbed in a game such as this and do things I wouldn't normally do."

"Pathfinder, which stems from Dungeons and Dragons, is a tabletop RPG where people often can role play to their heart's content. It is very popular and this website is a clean and simple overview of the various rules and stipulations when playing Pathfinder. It does only focus on the one RPG however so it is a bit limited."

"My group plays World of Darkness stuff fairly often (we like to throw one into the mix sometimes) and if you are into that world, you should go ahead and get Second Sight. Especially if you are into the novelizations, this fits into the world with all of the psychic phenomena. We had a blast!"

"This book itself is not a game, but the rule-book to support the game. While New World of Darkness is certainly fun and interesting, it's not a video game or board game, but more akin to Dungeons and Dragons. Therefore, this I would likely not include this book on the list and would make sure to clearly define New World of Darkness as an imagination, and not virtual-based game."

"I have never been one for fps games or other competitive titles of this age. I really do love role playing games though. One of the best that I have played recently has to be World of Darkness: Three Shades Of Night. This world was really in depth. I love the detail."

"Bought this as an impromptu gift for my boyfriend. He was a little underwhelmed, so not sure that I would recommend this title for avid fans of the game. He did say that it did contain a ton of information that was helpful for newbies and mid-level players, however. I think the production run of this edition is lacking quality control. "

"The New World of Darkness is a game that may be tough for some to grasp. I for one know the struggle, as it took some time for the game to really come to me. One of the reasons I can say I understand better is because of this wonderful supplement, The World of Darkness: Reliquary. It not only helps you get the grasp of basic concepts in the game but also helps to build upon those into becoming an advanced player."
