"The Fault in Our Stars deals with something a lot heavier than most young adult romance books, and I love it all the more for it. Romance gets so much more real when you put in the context of death and mortality, that someday the person you love will die, and I think it's a valuable lesson for teenagers to learn."

"Great for young adults, though I think you need to read all three books in the series to get the whole love story. The first book was great, but not a complete love story on its own. Read all three!"

"This is a good entry into a great series. It features a character who is innocent enough to learn and grow, but not so dumb that the reader loses interest. The series is written by a mother/daughter team, and it's easy to see how one of them kept the book fresh and fun, and the other grounded the book with mature themes. All in all, a very satisfying read. "

"I love Vikings and historical romance. The problem is that sometimes, it’s hard to find a good book in that genre, because so many are “campy” or just ridiculous that I almost pull an eye muscle because I rolled them too much. SO when Susan Fanetti announced that she was writing a Vikings novel, I was OVER THE MOON!! I have been a fan of hers since her first book, when I fell in love with her characters, their “realness” and her writing. I always know when I pick up a Fanetti book, that she won’t be using any of the overdone tropes and that her writing and storytelling will be impeccable. What’s more, Susan puts in hours and hours of research that shows through in her writing. I LOVE IT! I love the quality that she puts into all of her books and was stoked that she was writing a Vikings series, and now that I’ve finished the book… I WANT MORE! I want to live in their world, I want to see the people and friends and just bask in the world that Susan created."

"While "A SEAL's Fantasy" may be a perfectly good romance, I don't think it's the best for a teen audience. It gets pretty steamy and the relationship between the main characters might not set the healthiest expectations for younger readers. There are definitely better options out there for teen romances, but a level-headed teen looking for a sexy romp might appreciate this in a pinch."

"This is a decent romance novel. Nothing that hasn't been tread before, but with sick dogs and recluses, it grabbed me right in the feels and held me, and I'm not even a teen!"

"I decided to read this before giving it to my sister who is sixteen. I wanted to make sure it would be good. It is perfect for teenagers. It is a great lovestory. I found the characters to be just the right age and the story to be very age appropriate."

"In All the Bright Places, I was intrigued by Jenniver Niven's way of telling of romantic story without being over the top. It was more modern and I could really get into the development of the characters. I thought Theodore was charming and it helped balance out the sad side of Violet who was in need of comfort for a better part of the novel. Well written book overall. "

"Although I think teens like reading a little romance, this one is about a girl who gets in a love triangle with her boss. Maybe a tad bit inappropriate for a teen, as having a relationship with your boss probably isn't the best example to set for a young mind."
