Sixteen year old Gemma is kidnapped from Bangkok airport and taken to the Australian Outback. This wild and desolate landscape becomes almost a character in the book, so vividly is it described. Ty, her captor, is no stereotype. He is young, fit and completely gorgeous. This new life in the wilderness has been years in the planning. He loves only her, wants only her. Under the hot glare of the Australian sun, cut off from the world outside, can the force of his love make Gemma love him back? The story takes the form of a letter, written by Gemma to Ty, reflecting on those strange and disturbing months in the outback. Months when the lines between love and obsession, and love and dependency, blur until they don't exist \- almost.

"Stolen is a very interesting read. The style is original and the story is a bit odd but quite interesting. This is a very unsettling concept in many ways. Not for everyone."

"Seduced in the Dark is a book by CJ Roberts. It is available from Amazon for $14.99. The story covers Caleb and Livvie and their struggles in the world of sex trafficking. This would be a horrible existence that no one should have to endure. This is a story of horrible acts and then revenge. If you like dark graphic stories then this might be for you. "

"I don't normally read romance novels, but my sister kept recommending this one to me. "It's different!" she would say. "It's not like those cheesy novels with Fabio on the cover!" Well, she finally broke me and got me to read "Prisoner of My Desire", and it was EXACTLY like one of those "cheesy novels with Fabio on the cover". I struggled to get through the first few chapters, and about half way through I just gave up. I suppose it's not bad for what it is, but who actually reads these kinds of books and enjoys them? Idiots, that's who! "

"Themes of captivity come up quite frequently in historical romance "Honor's Splendour" - one main character is holding another hostage, for various reasons that might spoil some key events in the story. However, the characters do not have that straightforward of a power dynamic. Some parts of this book might sound cliche, but it does manage to be better than similar works because of the great detail that the author goes into. "
