"A Russian boarding school vampire romance novel. This is interesting to say the least. The Russian spin on this type of story is certainly a fun and entertaining one. Definitely recommended for the setting itself."

"This was a great series but a mild letdown to close it out. Many of the stroylines are left open and have ambiguous endings. The characters disappoint and there is just not as much to this book as the other ones did have. Still a must read for fans of the series and a good book on its own when not measured up to the normal standards of the author and series."

"This book is a favorite of mine that falls into the genre of classic literature. For those interested in period piece books, this one features a great deal of romance as well as the struggles facing all levels of Russian society. "Big" books do not intimidate me and as I continued through the book, the size became irrelevant. The hardest part of reading this novel was adjusting to the foreign names and languages. "

"It is a definite romantic novel featuring the Russian heroes, the Romanovs, but it's extremely fictional that you may not learn that much about Russian history. It actually takes place in Chicago and Anastasia Romanov is a character that is the main focus who has experiences of Russian history in her dreams. It's an original concept of a storyline and it has some great reviews on Amazon."

"This was an incredibly hard read at some points, especially so if you don't get Russian humor. The story is riddled with plotholes and just comes off as both lazy and predictable. Avoid it unless you're a masochist. "

Arranged marriages don't happen in the modern world, so how did the irrepressible Daisy find herself in this fix? Alex Markov, as humorless as he is deadly handsome, has no intention of playing the loving bridegroom to a spoiled little feather-head with champagne tastes. He drags Daisy from her uptown life to a broken down traveling circus and sets out to tame her to his ways. But this man without a soul has met his match in a woman who's nothing but heart. Before long, passion will send them flying sky high without a safety net... risking it all in search of a love that will last forever."

"This book may or not feature Russian heroes, but the cover art, author's other works, and book reviews stir the imagination of what lies between its covers. Most readers probably won't care where the heroes and heroines are from, because they'll be too engrossed in the fiery romance and that these pages bring to life. I'd recommend this book to any readers who are interested in romance novels featuring paranormal activity. You might pick it up and never put it down."

"The Russian Temptation (Foreign Affairs) has some very well written dialog between the main characters and it is very romantic for a foreign based romance novel. I found the main characters encounters to be very interesting and the fact that it takes place in Russia is a real change in pace for me. "
