"I love this because it's really not just a cheap romance novel. I love the setting and time period. Normally I wouldn't want to pick up something called a romance novel but this is so much better then your run of the mill time slip story."

""The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks is an outstanding love story; possibly the best one I have ever read. The love that Allie and Noah have for each other is something that everyone wishes for in their lifetime. This story will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you realize that true love is a unbreakable gift. "

"I was looking for a new romance novel to follow up my recent reading like "Love in the Time of Cholera." I really wanted a giant and sweeping novel with high emotional leverage, and "Gone with the Wind" really took me there. I was hopelessly hooked right away and love the way it made me feel."

"My sister loves romance novels and is a huge fan of Julia Quinn, this is one of her favorite books and she have talked to me about it several times in the past. Finally I decided to read it. I'm not a huge fan of romance books, I prefer books where the romance is not the main thing, but anyways this book was enjoyable. The writer is really talented to create such fleshed out characters, a great setting and the writing style is great, with reasonable descriptions and good character development. I recommend this to romance fans. "

"I have been following the Outlander series from the beginning, so I might be a little biased, but I love this book! Scotland is such a refreshing change of pace as a setting, and just as it starts getting boring we get to see the West Indies. I've read this book so many times that my copy is getting ragged. It's made me cry, which is rare for me when reading. Give the series a shot!"

"We're looking for the best romance novels of the 20th century and although this was written in the 20th century, it isn't groundbreaking in any way. It's your run of the mill paperback novel. It features a plucky heroine and a gruff but lovable hero. I would say it's a fun read but not something you're going to go out of your way to read again."
