"One thing that I really love in this world is Tang. I can eat that all day long. All joking aside, I picked up this book because I really enjoy the The Tang Dynasty and I know that even though this is a romance novel I do like the back drop. This is more or less a story of Mei Lin, a swords woman that refuses to marry unless she can be bested in a swords fight. Needless to say a perfect suitor shows up and bests her and she is willing to give it up to him. This book was average at best. Nothing to special. "

"The relationship between Elanor, teen aged girl, and Park, an actual park situated a block from Elanor's house, was richer and more interesting than you might think. The love story suckered me in and kept my attention up until the ending in which we (spoiler alert!) find out that Park is actually a breeding ground for rats and other vermin."

"This book was okay but it didn't have enough Asians in it. With a title like Clockwork Prince I felt sure that there would be at least a few but there weren't. Very disappointing. The story was written okay and I felt a little corrupted by the end, which I've read is what the author is going for here, but I feel lackluster about the whole thing in general. It was just missing something, some diversity in the characters maybe. "

"Graceling is written by Kristin Cashore and it is certainly a great romance novel with a female hero. I cannot say the heroine or any other heroes are Asian, so I do not think this book is the very best solution for this topic."
