"For many fans of Nicholas Sparks, A Walk to Remember is their favorite of all of his books. It is a sad story, a story of cancer taking a life too soon."

"I really adored this novel. It was very The Fault In Our Stars-ish, but a bit more mature. I could read it every month!"

"Under Locke bills itself as a romance, but it is not (just) a romance - it's a battle with cancer. an uplifting story, the romance itself is straightforward, but it's not really the main focus. I, thankfully, cannot say this from personal experience, but this book seems to show an in depth look at how a relationship deals with cancer. This is really an emotional read!"

"Just Not Mine is a lovely contemporary romance, well-written and with just the right amount of heat. Cancer doesn't play a huge role in this book, and it is the seventh in the season, so depending on what you're looking for, this may or may not fit the bill. I think it's worth a read either way -- along with the rest of the Escape the New Zealand series."

"Yes, yes, yes, to this book. Though, not for old literary me (way too much angst). But my teenager was swept up in all of this and LOVED this book and every thing about it. She doesn't, to be clear, have just one copy -- but two. She lends one out and keeps the other on her shelf. It's that good. "

"Penny Reid really can't do any wrong. This book is written with only one person's point of view, her later books in the series are from both characters, which I enjoy. I have recommended this book to several people, and I may buy the paper copy for pool side reading this summer."
