"It seems to fit the bill but it is a little strange for a true romance novel. "

"Funny title, and a funny book! This is really all good fun, and it comes across as almost a throwaway, except that the author is actually quite good. Sometimes she is pretty self-aware about the cliches of the genre and she always has fun with it. I did too!"

"This is a great romance novel. The title is quirky and weird but the story makes up for it. I couldn't put it down."

"This isn't necessarily a romance novel as it is a rehashing of a classic one with the word zombie thrown in everywhere, including the title, that doesn't make any sense. If the novel itself was funny, this would be a funny and good book. But it's like someone just inserted zombies and altered the material to make it ludicrous. Guess you have to be a fan"

"When you think about it this book is kind of what a lot of women go through some still now. A lot of women feel they shouldn't break the "rules" if they want to get everything they want out of life. Definitely a good book to show you that you should just live your life and not worry so much what others think."

"I wanted to read this book before I watched the movie. Becky is a sweet, somewhat hapless character with good intentions but who clearly has a problem. Kinsella does a very good job developing her character and there is a lot of humor in the book. I feel like shopping is an addiction but Kinsella tries to make light of it in the story while still allowing her character to go through the struggle. Overall, it's a decent read for someone who wants something a little different in a romance novel."

"Jennifer has such a way with words and a great knowledge about the relationships between men and women. In Bet Me, I really got a sense of her characters. They were developed enough for me to be able to relate to. Her writing is witty and fast-paced, yet filled with humor. I couldn't put this book down! I finished it in one setting. Once I was done, I called me sister and since then, it has been passed around our families and friends. It really is such a delight to read about romance in a time of fate and coincidence. "

"This does not have a funny title. This is a pretty normal title for a young adult novel. Based on that, this would not be a good match for the prompt."
