"I've been a nurse for 23 years and absolutely love reading romance novels about someone nursing someone back to health, and I think Flowers from the Storm is the best one that I have ever read. It's a great story that keeps you wanting to find out what is going to happen next so I just couldn't put the book down. "

"Is it ridiculously cheesy and full of cliches? Yes. Did I love it anyway? ...Yes. I've found myself coming back to this book several times just to enjoy certain passages, and it's delicious each time."

"The story that started it all ... book 1 of 8. Critics love it, and the fans do too. Come for the sex, stay for the historical story telling."

"This is a touching novel about a woman who lost her husband a few years after he returned from Fallujah. The human dynamic where the woman goes on a quest to meet the man who saved her husband's life is dramatic and heart warming against the backdrop of Christmas. The military tale is uplifting and heartbreaking at the same time."

"On the Island is not a book that you can read all times since it will make you very sad. The story is no different than any other romance novels which has a story of a person and a professionals. You should only read it if you do not have any other thing to read."

"That such a book could be even called a historical novel blows my mind. Sure, there are long dresses, fitted bodices and horses sprinkled through the premises, and the male main character is a prince, but that's about as far as it goes down the historical path. The rest is a typical romance tale of sweet and innocent (but smart) women falling for dastardly and so handsome dominant males. And of course beautiful and explosive love ensues, because that's what pays the rent right? For the author and the publisher I mean. I knew I should not invest even a minute of my time given the cover art, but my sister-in-law insisted that it was pretty good and I felt it would be nice to at least give it a try. My bad."

"This was a surprisingly good novel. I'm not attracted to fairy tale inspired stories but this one is engaging. The only issue I have is that the reason for the heroine's initial predicament is not made entirely clear. Fast read and keeps your attention."

"Truly one of the best romance novels I have ever read. It was difficult to put down and I did not want this book to end. The heroine's story is very well developed, she suffers many things in this world. I was so swept away by this book, I finished it in just 2 days. "
