"I was a teenager in the 1970s, so you'd think I would love this show. Nope. I didn't find the characters relatable at all, so I never could get into it enough to decide whether I liked the humor. Maybe it's that these folks were in the midwest, in the suburbs, and were more popular kids, but their 70s was not my 70s. Why did I buy this set? I bought it for my friend who loves this program. The DVDs were poorly packaged and scratched, and we had to return the set."

"Friends is the TV show which set standard of the situational comedy genre. It was on air for 10 whole years and amassed a huge fan base not only in the English speaking part of the world but beyond that too. The importance of the series can't be denied but whether it's the best romance show or not totally depends on the viewers and their subjective taste."

"I want to say that I have actually heard of "Smash", but I have never watched it. The reviews are very positive and it does come off like a show that is easy to binge watch on a winter day. The story seems interesting enough to hold my attention, so maybe one day I will give this show a watch!"

"Sometimes i wish TV writers had the freedom and time to fully write their shows. This show was one of the few mainstream TV comedies i could stand but eventually the writers lose the thread or make to many weird turns. The romance has a lot of comic relief so temper your expectations."

"I don't watch romance shows myself but my girlfriend does and just loves The Bachelor. I'm sure most women would like to see what goes on in these televised romances. Often humorous and at the same time depressing, I guess you could call it a tragicomedy."
