"Before Google Maps, I wrote down the directions on paper for unknown destinations. That method was very inconvenient but the Google Maps app changed all of that. With this app, I put in my destination’s address and it navigates me there perfectly allowing me to preview the surroundings before getting there. There is also a voice feature that talks me through the route until I reach my destination, which allows me to keep my eyes on the road and not on my phone looking for my next turn. I highly recommend this app."

"I do not personally bike but, my father in law does and I can see him very much enjoying the use of this app. As of right now he currently uses an app that only tracks how long of a ride he went on (he loves to brag about it) but, I could see this app allowing him to save his favorite ride routes for future use as well as tracking where he went. It also has an added bonus that it can track other workouts which may come in handy. "

"A number of cycling apps exist for Android, but Ride with GPS offers one of the better combinations of features and performance. Maps, altitude, speed tracking, cadence and distance are tracked among others, and many popular bluetooth accessories are supported. One thing I really like is the ability to just press the screen once and begin riding, rather than having to set up continually and press the screen in my gloves. "

"I'm an avid runner, but I don't have a lot of money. I really wanted a FitBit but didn't want to dump a couple hundred bucks into a dedicated device just for that. This app is my next best thing, sort of. I already have a phone, so that's solved. I can record what I've been doing, how well, how fast, all of it. It helps me stay on track, helps me consult with the trainer at my gym so I can hear what suggestions she has for me. I just wish Strava would use the GPS or impact sensor in my phone to track mileage or record steps, but maybe that'll be in version 2.0."

"I have had Waze for about a year now and I love it. If you want to get to work on the fastest route, or simply plan a trip, this is the app for you. It's free and constantly updated by users about construction zones and things to watch out for along your trip. The concept is unique, as google maps is not constantly updated by their users. "

"I am naturally navigationally challenged. I get lost very easily. I downloaded the Mapfactor Navigator app to help me on a trip I was planning. I love the fact that it gives me the 3 best routes. The routes are color coded so it is easy to decipher between them. The app is very accurate and I was able to get to my location with zero issues. If you are in need of a navigation app, I fully suggest you try this one"
