"One Shot is extremely fun and addictive! It's a puzzle game that will challenge and entertain you for hours, however I definitely wouldn't call it an RPG Maker Game. It's more of a puzzle game. "

"I really don't like this game. The graphics are bad, even considering this is an RPG Maker game, and the story is boring and trite. The voice overs are rough, I wouldn't play this game if I got it free in a bundle."

"Corpse party scares me; badly. This game is so interesting and so unlike anything else on the market and there are corpses. Lots and lots of corpses. The amazingly grotesque sound effects actually sent a shiver down my spine. Corpse party has a good story built around interesting characters in realistically creepy setting. Recommended one of the best RPGMaker games!"

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that RPG Maker used to be just a hobbyist software? That's right, for a game engine that's been around since 1992, it's easy to think that the software has already fallen under the fad. But no, RPG Maker remains a relevant tool for RPG geeks. In fact, Steam releases hundreds of games each year. This includes several commercial games like To the Moon, LISA, and Corpse Party. Thanks to the developers' persistence, over a million units have already been sold on Steam as of April of 2018. Well, you might wonder, how did it come to be the engine that everybody seems to love?

To tell you the truth, back in the early '90s, RPG Maker wasn't gaining much popularity. It only caught the attention of hardcore JRPG fans. It was only in 2007, when the community began making changes to the way they make themselves known. They started a central repository, dubbed as the RPG Maker Network, where people can find pieces of advice and share their own games as well. Many of the games distributed there were just tech demos, proofs-of-concept, and small projects. During that time, all these games were free. Then came 2013, when 188 new titles entered the RPG Maker Network. The number of releases keeps piling in each year, and RPG Maker successfully became a tool for aspiring developers who want to make it in the gaming industry. Are you one of them? Why don't you try making your own RPG? Yours might just be one of the best RPG Maker games soon!

"This game offers as mentioned "A story-driven experience about two doctors traversing backwards through a dying man's memories to artificially fulfill his last wish." I enjoy that concept but graphically could be more vibrant. It does strike interest for gamers looking for something a bit different in rpg maker games"

"There has got to be something more exciting to show of the game in the video. better screen shots maybe? If not that might be the problem altogether. Many people today like the graphics and the high rates of streaming, this looks so old even if it is a new product, which I also cannot figure out. "

"The story pacing is little bizarre but once you get on with the introductions which are quite long you will be able to play the game to the fullest. Features unlocking continues till the very end of this game. Graphics are pretty generic but the game will get you absorbed in it after 3 or 4 hours. I know that is a very long time but that is the price you have to pay in order to unlock these great hidden story elements and game features."
