"This book is gripping, dark and scary, but nowhere near as scary and terrifying as horror type science fiction like Stephen King's. If that's what you're looking for you'll probably be disappointed. It draws you in and makes you think. The one flaw the book has is the ending doesn't explain much so you're left with a lot of questions. If you like neat endings this might not be the book for you."

"This isn't especially scary, although there are some tense moments. It's mostly pulpy fun. A sleepy town gets invaded by killer crabs. What's not to love? The characters exist to be eaten and the plot is pretty rote. But this is still a highly entertaining read. "

"First let me tell you that I am not a religious person. That being said, the book was still captivating. The plot itself was nothing like I've ever heard before and the descriptions were spot-on for the mood of the story. Very few authors can write like this. I'd highly recommend it regardless of your religious background!"
