"The Invasion of the Body Snatchers is a classic sci-fi horror film from the 1950's. Few movies from this genre are as good as this film and only a few are better. It follows an extraterrestrial invasion with the ET's using plant spores that grew into large seed pods. Each pod spawns a replacement copy of a human being in which the copied human bears the physical characteristics, memories, and personalities but without human emotions. If that doesn't scare you, I don't know what would."

"From one of the best science-fiction and horror film directors of his era, Prince of Darkness is definitely one of the greatest sci-fi horror films ever. It follows the story of a priest and a quantum physics professor investigating a mysterious cylinder with a swirling green liquid. The text found near the cylinder suggests that the liquid is the corporeal embodiment of Satan. And yes, disaster followed. Really fun movie to watch but entertainingly horrifying."

"From a very scary game to the big screen, the Resident Evil franchise never failed to deliver. Now with Resident Evil: Afterlife, Alice tries to rescue the remaining survivors in Los Angeles after the T-virus outbreak. The CGI alone should make this movie fun to watch but in my opinion, this is probably the best film in the whole series as more and more secrets are revealed!"

"Predator is one of those science-fiction films that really could be classified as a horror movie. An elite unit enters the jungle in response to weird reports from the villages and they get taken out one-by-one. What's worse is that the remaining members have no clue who's taking them out. Talk about a slasher-kind of movie but happening in the jungle with high-powered weapons!"

"Well, I loved the book as much as I loved the movie. I think it is important to remember that the movie and the book are two different entities and should be treated that way. Will Smith gave one of his best performances. The CGI and the storyline are solid. Overall, one of the better sci-fi horror films of its time."

"28 Days Later is one of my all-time favorite post-apocalyptic movies. While the movie itself is really scary, what will bring you sleepless nights is the thought that this could really happen. This is a really enjoyable film but just imagining ravenous zombies running around gives me the creeps."

"I enjoyed watching Resident Evil: Extinction despite hearing negative reviews about the film. In my opinion, it met the high standard that the Resident Evil franchise has set. Zombies everywhere, the fight scenes were good, and the returning cast performed well. What's not to like in this film? "
