"If you're into those mushy, emotional movies, go ahead and check this one out. However, if you're like me and you want some crazy science fiction experience, this is not the place to be. Sure, there's great CGI and special effects, but telling a story is about plot. The plot here clearly belongs in the drama section, but the science fiction aisle."

While there are many enjoyable "B"-list movies out there, this one is by far the best - a classic that introduced dozens of tropes and cliches that, at the time, felt fresh and exciting. I think this is definitely one for the shelf of any fan of science fiction or old-school cinema."

I love the characters, and I think "Wall-E" is a charming and wonderful young man. It doesn't matter at this point if he is over 700 years old. He makes us all feel like we can attempt and succeed at anything. The changing of his "treads" and the collection of aesthetics are the most endearing things about him. I know that none of the "lighter fluid" would still be in anything 700 years old, but it serves to connect him to us. A brilliant movie, in my humble opinion"

And when it's not being remade, it's being copied and emulated. The sole interesting thing is the "surprise" at the end, because the rest of it reads like a really dark and tragic tale of "be careful or bad things will happen" that scolds science. "There are way better sci-fi movies then this one. This one only has a 3 star rating and really not that good. It is more like a tv show with a 6 part series. Pretty cheesy affects- low budget type of graphics."
