"The horror genre is probably my favorite of all time, so when I found this recommendation for Stranger Things as an award-winning series, it was right up my alley. As I started watching the show, I was immediately hooked by the fine acting, the well-known cast and the compelling storyline. I'm only a couple of episodes in, so far, but I have a really good feeling about the series and I understand that more unexpected twists and turns will be coming."

"The series, which is based on an FX anthology, details the 1960s rivalry of two actresses, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Davis and Crawford were competing for a place in Hollywood fame on movie sets in the 1960s. The series features a preview and 8 separate episodes chronicling the actresses early career and shows the strains and pressure of trying to rise to the top in a hotly contested industry."

"Aside from the huge star power of this series (Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman), it draws you in with it's delightful twists and turns. At it's core, this is a show about mystery, murder and intrigue with such exquisite touches of dark comedy that make you want to binge watch it forever. I mean, it was nominated for 7 Emmy awards and once you watch, it clear to see why. A must see!"

"I have been looking for a new show to watch and This is Us is excellent. The show follows a collection of seemingly average people through their average lives until things start to get more interesting. My girlfriend and I love the show because of how normal and relateable the characters seem at first, defintely a worthwhile watch and kudos to the Emmy Awards for selecting it!"

"So relevant to our current times. It realistically shows how a series of small decisions made quietly by people in power can lead to big horrifying unjustices in the lives of the people. Hopefully it inspires more of us to pay better attention to politics and current events!! (It's a great book too!!!)"

"I've been an Aziz Ansari fan for a while. I checked out his sitcom on Netflix and found it really funny, especially some of the minor characters like his tall, goofy friend. There's something very sweet and touching about Aziz, and I'd recommend the show to anyone who likes him or romantic comedy."

"I've been a fan of Julia since her Seinfield days, so I'm not sure whether it's good or bad that she's basically still Elaine, but just the VP. I still sort of enjoy this show, but it's pretty much a guilty pleasure; if you really think about the laughs, it just makes you sad inside."

"Westword is easily one of the best series to watch right now and I think it's set to dominate the 69th emmy awards. The production is remarkable and it feels more like a very long high budget film than an actual series with a budget."
