"Beast Master (Vol 1) is a 2 part series written by Kyousuke Motomi, one of her first (if not first) published books. Because I have enjoyed other books by the same author/artist, I decided to give this book a try. The art is well-drawn and the art is what attracted me to this in the first place. It is its strongest asset. The story line is awesome and if a Hilarious romance is what you are after look no further than Beast Master!"

"This is a really great story. The illustrations were just okay in my book but the story was what really got me. I don't want to give anything away about the plot but you should definitely sit and read it side by side with a tissue box. Usually I don't like stories that pull on your heart strings but this one really got to me! "

"What I like a lot about the Hell Girl manga, beyond the subtle undertones of sexual deviancy, is the use of technology for revenge. While there are many websites that help you achieve it, few summon up a girl from the netherworld to take someone to eternal damnation. This is to say, I likely enjoyed this series far too much. It's nice they didn't drag it on, too."

This series seems to span only 8 or so volumes, which makes it the perfect length to read through in a short span of time.
