What are the best shounen anime?

The most talked-about of all the upcoming anime franchises is more often than not shounen. You're probably wondering, what is shounen anime? To most people, "shounen" is just action anime where a bunch of guys (usually in their teens) aims to be the best. But that's where most people are mistaken, 'cause it's much more than that. Shounen is all about fights where the slightest mistake could mean life or death. It's got hints of comedy mixed in every once in a while. Besides that, it's also full of mindless fun adventures sprinkled with a little bit of romance. Contrary to popular belief, shounen isn't a genre, it's a demographic. It covers a lot of solid gold anime that's aimed at young teen boys. It consists of every genre and every level of entertainment there is. Whether it's from the simplest of comedies to the more sophisticated philosophical anime. The best shounen anime is arguably the most popular category in anime. One of the reasons is because it's done a great job in establishing itself with Western audiences. Ever since the beginning with Astro Boy in the 1960s until now. Fans have become more and more fond of stories about young adults who aim to conquer every challenge. With each challenge that they face, they get closer to reaching their dreams. There's been no shortage of shounen since the very first one came out. Now, there are over hundreds of titles so how are you supposed to know which ones are the best? Well, lucky for you we made a list of the best shounen anime 2020 has to offer. Check out the list right here!

"When I was younger, I have always wanted to become a pirate because hell, Luffy is so amazing!! I spend like 2-3hours catching up on the episodes I missed after doing my homework and it is such a good source of laughter. I would definitely recommend this to my friends who love constant adventure--it is a long series so brace yourself for all the tears, sadness, laughter, and other emotions to come :D"

"Y'all, I am so tempted to tell you the biggest plot twist of this anime just like what my brother did to me!!! but I would rather leave it to you as you watch it. I don't normally pay attention to the storyline itself but man, the survival story is very engaging!! So engaging that I actually dreamed of this a few times!! LOOL Animation graphics are superb too. Shingeki no Kyojin is simply the best!!"

"Goku and Gohan are timeless! I have been following this anime even before the release of Dragon Ball Z. The first Dragon Ball anime already caught my interest. I have been binge-watching the past few days on kissanime and so far, I just can't get enough of it. Vegeta, Piccolo, and Truniks are among my favorites. It is one of the classic shounen anime!!"

"I thought I'd rather stick to reading the manga but well, I decided to give the anime series a shot. Characters are interesting enough. Naruto and his seemingly endless quest of becoming the Hokage of Konoha is just one part of whole anime. I admire Sakura the most because she selflessly wants to become stronger for her loved ones!!"

"Is it weird that I really like the villains in this anime?? IDK? I see them all as a Final Boss also because of their voice. Spekaing of voice, I think Saitama's voice is really bringing the character into life and his voice fits his personality. Whenever I see a bald dude in the street I always remember Saitama. LOL JK"

"Graphics are impressive. Although i think Brotherhood's pacing is a little fast compared to the original manga but the plot is still adherent. It was a little fast that i think half a volume of the manga is compressed within a few eps. Anyway, the intriguing factor stays."
