What are the best slice of life romance anime?

After riding the extreme roller coaster of emotions from watching an intense anime series, pacifying yourself and recovering from any possible emotional exhaustion or trauma is always a good idea. You can take a break, have a walk in the park, or you can watch more anime. No kidding. The kind of anime we’ll be introducing to you, however, is very far from the usual action-packed series you’ve known. It’s called the slice of life anime and like what its name suggests, it shows a cut-out portion of a character’s life. Imagine living your everyday life and choosing a random week, regardless of being eventful or not, and making it into a film for everyone to see. That’s what slice of life is all about.

Although there may or may not be any character developments, plot progress, or solid conflicts, the slice of life anime still has a loyal audience and is considered a popular fan favorite. As anticlimactic as it may be, a slice of life romance anime is so relaxing to watch. Obviously, with its passive nature, it’s something that not everyone will enjoy. However, the charm of this romantic anime lies in the fact that from this genre, one learns to appreciate the beauty of love in mundane things. It’s realistic and relatable as it focuses on the everyday experiences of average people about falling in love, finding love, or staying in love. If you’re ready to have a romantic relaxation, we’re also ready with our list of the best slice of life romance anime. Let us know what you think about these series in the comment section below. "Wonderful art style, I must say. Animation wise, it is fluid and relatively refreshing. I honestly think this is more of a slice of life anime than a romance. I would also understand those people who would say that the character and plot development is quite slow but it really is, at first. I recommend this as one of the best slice of life romance anime of all time."

"In terms of being a romance anime, I think the characters of Kimi NI Todoke are well-explored. Not to mention that the soundtrack is really impressive. It just makes me feel sad that Sawako and Kazehaya have both low self-esteem. I just hope they learn to express their feelings. Recommended for teenagers"

"All the characters are lovable, really funny story as well. Character development is really one of the best trait of this anime, however the sound is one of their weakness, I think some of them don't fit in the anime."

"I liked the art and sound of Toradora!, the characters are also very unique, in terms of design and personalities. However, the story might make you feel bored and the ending was anti-climatic for me."
