"I've been looking for a slide scanner for quite some time and tried out a few before settling for the Epson Perfection V600. It's a fine slide scanner and has helped with numerous projects involving negatives and various other documents. For the money -- just over $200 -- I'm very satisfied with this scanner and haven't run into any problems other than the fact that it's rather slow. But I'll live with that for the quality results I get."

"This is a great scanner for photos, and it even has restoration features built in. Unfortunately, it doesn't completely fit into my work flow because it lacks the ability to scan slides, which I think should be included at this price point."
