"A nice upgrade from the D800 with better autofocus and ISO range. You're able to set the shutter speed for as slow as 30 seconds and a "bulb mode" which let you keep the shutter open for as long as you want. This makes for some really nice light trails in your photos. It's pricey but this is one of the best that you can get from Nikon."

"I've used a friend's Nikon D810 a little and I'm tempted to make a comparison with my EOS 5D Mk. 3. They share a lot of the same features and functionalities as well as that mode for keeping the shutter open for as long as you want. If you're more of a Canon user, this is a great option."

"If you're like me and you're not ready to invest in pro-level gear just yet, this would be a great entry-level choice. It sports much of the same features and photo quality at a much more affordable price point."

"A good balance of price and features. A good mid-range option for people who are just starting out with this hobby or profession. I particularly like the small and compact body while still producing some pretty amazing photos for this price. Definitely worth checking out."

"The K-S2 has all the makings of a good mid-range camera. Good quality images, long exposure times, and an affordable price tag. I personally chose this because its body has been sealed and treated for some weather resistance. If you need a more rugged option, this is a good choice."

"A step down from the amazing D810 but for around half the price, you won't be losing out on much of the features or image quality. Personally, this is about as much as you should go for enthusiast photography. Any more than that is already overkill."

"A great camera overall but stabilization works noticeably worse compared to competing options. Considering what I paid for it, I expected more. Still, it's still a good choice. Just invest in a good tripod to go with it."
