"My LG phones have always been good - reliable & sturdy and pretty much my best phones. I like the special LG apps - not too much and always better than the standard. Love the knock code capability. The V20 is the best yet. Powerful, fast, big screen, plenty of storage. And the camera! Big, removable battery - this phone will last me for a long time."

"I love my Moto E4. There's nothing this smartphone can't do. When I chose it, it was important to me that I could remove the battery, this phone was capable of that and so much more. I highly recommend the Moto E4 for anyone in the market for a new phone."

Did you know that a UC San Diego assistant professor says he has developed a sustainable and effective way to recycle lithium-ion batteries that have already reached their maximum number of charging cycles? As a solution to the short battery life problem that most mobile phone users have, 31-year-old UC San Diego nanoengineer Zhang Chen has found a way to recycle the lithium batteries of his six cellphones and five laptops. In his lab in the university, Chen and his colleagues were able to remove particles from a used battery, heat it up with a solution with lithium salt, and then put them into new batteries. According to his study, the new batteries have the same cycle and life with the old one. His team is still finding out ways to transform the process into an industrial scale, which if successful will definitely help reduce the cost of producing lithium-ion batteries, both financially and environmentally. Batteries are less harmful to the environment than burning oil and coal but its production takes a large toll, especially in areas where it is produced. In the so-called lithium triangle of Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia, where lithium is produced in its brine sites, the locals are afraid that the process will worsen the drought on water since producing one ton of lithium takes about half a million gallons of water. If Chen succeeds in making this process sustainable on an industrial scale, it will also reduce the cost of making battery-dependent products from Samsung and Panasonic.

"It's really hard to find a mobile phone that has a removable battery, so I was very pleased to find the LG G5. The battery life is already great to begin with, but I can have a recharged battery ready to go when my battery is depleted. No more waiting for my phone to charge! Highly recommend for this feature alone, though the phone offers many great features."

"I needed a smartphone with a removable battery. With the recent iPhone news, I need to be able to change the battery of the phone. When using the CAT PHONES S60, I find that they used far too much of the purchase price ensuring the phone will not break. This phone is not worth what it costs because I only need a removable battery. "

"My family was look for an inexpensive phone and happened to come across the Motorola Moto G5. It was everything we needed for our son's first phone. It comes with a lithium ion battery. I have heard these phones can last quite a long while especially with the removable battery being able to be swapped out once it is finally worn out. Overall this is a great starter phone for my son."

"At a price of $2000, this phone better come with more than a removable battery. This is a rugged tablet and not necessarily a smart phone. At 8inches this would probably not fit in someone's pocket for every day use as a smart phone, definitely not my first pick!"
