"Hoping to finally fulfill my dream of creating a 2D game, I started looking for software for 2D animation. Then, Toon Boom Harmony popped up in the search. After about 2 weeks of using it, I am now halfway there with making my first 2D game. The only downside to this is the price. I think it is worth it though. It is exactly what I was looking for."

"Not since Blender was I more confused to get something simple working. I've had a lot of people tell me how easy it is, but I'm just not seeing it. I could keyframe an animation faster and by hand in 3DSMax than I could to get one simple animation working. And I stink in 3D space. I wish the creators all the luck in the world, as they have a large user base, but this just isn't good for me."

"Flipbook is a good program that will do 2D animation, but there are a few lingering problems that haven't been fixed in a few iterations of the program. I want to recommend it as well, but I tried it and just couldn't get behind it. There are other alternatives out there that fulfill this need better, and I'd encourage you to try to find one of those instead."

"I have this software for PC, and it is fantastic. The features of this program have helped in bringing my creative game ideas to life. There are so many features in this program, I doubt that I've reached its full potential yet. I have been able to startup my own video game company with this program. The only problem is that it is a bit pricey for anything other that PC format."
