I've always believed it's not easy to get great sound out of a 1/2 inch speaker, but this goes a long way to if not correcting the problem, at least making it more tolerable. Nice little app, but there is some kind of bug that slows down the entire iOS UI when using it. As a set it and forget it app for listening, it does very well. More

It's really not often that I feel the need to fool with looking for a non-default music player these days. Then, listening to an old favorite album one afternoon, I realized it seemed like it used to sound a lot better back in the day. Richer, more dynamic. I found this app and fiddled with stuff for way too long, most likely, but finally listened to the album again more like the way I remember it sounding. Probably not always or even often necessary unless you're an audiophile, but it certainly does what it sets out to do. More

I like the way it makes the music I listen to sound. It's too bad you can only use it for iTunes though.

Headquake is an exceptional sound enhancer app for iPhone. I like to do a lot of my editing remotely (whenever the mood strikes) so it's handy to be able to do so. There are a variety of presets but I prefer to choose my own soundstage as I'm quite selective and have an ear for sound. It makes enhancing sound fairly simple which is advantageous as some other apps and programs serve to complicate the process. It's not the only sound enhancing app I own, but it is one I always want in my "arsenal". More

It's free!!! It's also mediocre at best. I guess you really do get what you pay for. It's not going to hurt your phone or anything, but it's kinda buggy, and has too few options to make it worth the effort. I say pay a little more and get something actually pleasant to use. More
