The start of the year 2020 has not been great for almost all people. Just as 2019 was about to end, a coronavirus outbreak plagued China, particularly the city of Wuhan. Most thought they were safe from the virus until more and more people became infected by the disease later-on named COVID-19. Admittedly, nobody had ever seen the pandemic that would cause global panic, yet a lot of preventive measures circulated to help stop the contagion. But, how true is it? Does nobody really saw this one coming? With people like the French astrologer Nostradamus and prophets mentioned in the Bible, there might be a slim possibility that someone was able to predict this phenomenon. And what if we tell you that there were? For real?
Some of you must be familiar with the long-running animated comedy TV show The Simpsons. The show is not only known for the humor it brings to viewers of all ages. It also had a reputation for being able to predict the future. Specifically, some of its episodes looked identical to major world events that eventually happened in a later timeframe. One of the most notable 'predictions' from the 1989 animated TV series was the electoral victory of U.S. President Donald Trump from one of its episodes in 2000. Coincidence? How about we tell you that The Simpsons also allegedly 'predicted' the COVID-19 outbreak? Now, we won't tell you what episode it was. Why don't you watch it yourself? That's why it is on top of our list of the best sources that creepily predicted the coronavirus outbreak long ago. Aside from The Simpsons, we also included a movie and a couple of books that apparently foresaw the 2019 pandemic. Go ahead and marvel at the vision of the people behind it!
