What are the best spring break movies?

Finally! It's the much-awaited and much-needed time off from school! Toss your bag somewhere, call your friends to come over to your house, because it's that time of the year where getting drunk is an understatement! We all know what spring break is all about. It's anything and everything that includes alcohol, bikinis, and beaches. And it seems like if you didn't get wasted last spring break, you didn't have a good one. We can't blame those who just want to stay at home and spend time binge-watching movies though. If you are that person, then you are perfectly where you are supposed to be! But before that, pause for a while and ask yourself if you know where this celebration came from. It would sound too nerdy but did you know that ancient Greeks and Romans had long celebrated the arrival of spring even before young college students did? Yes! These dudes are all for self-indulgence!

Yet, the spring break event wasn't really a thing until Fort Lauderdale built the first Olympic-size pool in Florida in 1928, which has become one of the spring destinations of every college student, especially swimmers. Enter the 1960 spring break movie Where the Boys Are directed by Henry Levin. This romantic-comedy film follows the story of college girls who head to Fort Lauderdale to seek out for spring-break romance! And since we are guessing that you could be a homebody, we are bringing bikinis and beaches right in front of your eyes. Presenting the top-rated flick on the list, Spring Breakers starring Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomes, and Ashely Benson. The list goes on and on, but we don't wanna bum you out so we would rather let you discover them yourselves. Instead of heading to Florida, just head down to our spring break movie list!
