"A nice star map that works very well. Just point it in the sky and you can navigate the solar system and see whatever stars you are looking for. It's like having a planetarium in the palm of your hand. I've enjoyed looking at the night sky and actually being able to name what I'm looking at. "

"I have to admit, when Google released its Sky Map, I never thought much of needing something better nor any way to improve it. Then I found this. It's not that it's that superior in terms of how I use an app to find constellations or whatnot, but it is far more attractive in general, with nice stylized overlays of the constellations and even a font that feels more suited to the context. My daughter finds it much more interesting to look at, and that's worth a lot to me right there since I hope to get her interested in the night sky the way I was when I was her age."

"This app appears to have stellar reviews, along with a 4.3/5 star rating. While some of the reviews are quick to point out issues, it should be noted that the app publisher has responded to a few of them. Additionally, the app is free and without in-app purchases. I think that it is worth giving a shot."

"Awesome app. There are two features I really liked. One was the backgrounds of the maps, how you can picture constellations, how there are planetary backdrops, etc. Just makes it look really cool. Also I love that it's offline as well. Stargazing usually takes place somewhere where the internet is dodgy at best, so a reliable offline mode is great."
