"Yesterday's Son (Star Trek) is a book is a keepsake you will more than likely wear out since it is so good and right on and its author, A. C Crispin, has passed. My husband and I loved the Star Trek series and it was consistently something we did together. This book could have made a great movie! I guarantee, you won't want to put it down once you crack open the cover. The idea of Spock having a son is extremely appealing to me and a definite draw towards this book! I'd give it a 5 star rating just like 60% of the people who read it did."

"This book focuses almost entirely on Sarek so I was ended up wanting to know more about the others. I would still recommend reading this book in the series though. The storyline is engaging and emotional at times, and very well written."
