    Turtwig is the Grass-type Starter Pokémon for Pokemon Platinum. Turtwig appears to be a green-ish Pokémon with a small twig on its head. It has large yellow eyes and its face is oddly shaped and it evolves into a Grotle at level 18 of the game, which later evolves into Torterra at level 32.

    Chimchar is the Fire-type Starter Pokémon in Pokemon Platinum. Chimchar has a light colored stomach with a little swirl at the top on its chest. It has a tail with a burning flame. Chimchar evolves into Monferno when it reaches level 14 and into Infernape at level 36.

    Piplup is the Water-type Starter Pokémon in Pokemon Platinum. It is a light-blue penguin-like Pokémon, which is covered in thick down to insulate against the cold. Piplup evolves into Prinplup at level 16, which then evolves into Empoleon at level 36.

    "I don't know what the other two guys above are sayin, but I think Chimchar should be on the top of this best starters in Pokémon Platinum list. If you don't believe me, watchout until he becomes infernape"

    "I totally agree with @Benjamin, that's why I always choose grass type starters (Bulbasaur, Treeko) even in other Pokemon games. This is totally the pokemon platinum best starter for everyone. 💪"
