Steins;Gate is an anime TV series created by the animation studio White Fox. The series was based on a 2009 visual novel of the same name created by 5pb. and Nitroplus. The series ran for 24 episodes and aired from April to September 2011. Trivia Time: the series is actually part of a larger franchise called Science Adventure. It shares company two other series namely, Chaos;Head and Robotics;Notes. This anime show deals with the concept of time travel and is definitely sci-fi through and through. The story follows our eccentric amateur inventor and self-proclaimed mad scientist, Rintaro Okabe.

One day, he and his friends accidentally discover a way to basically travel through time. They do so by sending text messages in the past that would inevitably change the present in some way. "Achievement Point is the best Steins; Gate episode ever. I pity those who stopped watching after episode 4 thinking this show was dragging when in fact it's probably the best anime ever. It's the highest rated anime on IMDB of all time. In this episode, you'll understand why. The mindf**kery is unbelievable and the entire series is brilliant. The perfect example of a series finale where everything gets resolved satisfactorily. "

"I knew episode 1 was way more important than we were lead to believe after watching episode 20! Eventhough I love Mayuri for being good and pure-hearted (plus she's Okabe's childhood friend) I'm actually glad he saved Makise instead because of the potential romance between them."

"This is legit the best episode of the Steins Gate anime. It's like the depressing version of Groundhog's Day. It made my head spin and my heart break. Okabe's repeated attempts to save Mayuri just hit me right in the feels. BTW Suzuha is my fave character. Who's yours?"

"Who needs sleep when you can binge watch Steins;Gate? This show has so many d*mn plot twists but the story is structured in a way that's easy to follow, even logical. Sacrificial Necrosis is such a beautiful episode. It's the first one that made me cry."
