"Fun book to let children read alone or read with them. More of a collection of stories rather than one long one. I think this makes it easier to get younger kids to pay attention throughout it."

"A great telling story of an orphaned girl that everyone should read at least once. This particular product though do not pick up. This is is a reprint and is not a good copy at all. Illustrations are horrible and the wording is all over the place. Purchase this story but the actual hard cover not this paperback or kindle edition."

"Black Beauty is a great suggestion for youngsters as many of them love animals. I love that the book not only showcases happiness but it shows strength in the face of adversity as well and that is a good lesson for all youngsters to learn. The story is very touching and a very heartwarming read for all ages but I think this story is easily related to teens and youngsters as well."

"If your child likes the Wizard of Oz then I think they're probably going to love this book. I got my niece this book when she was around 12 or so and she couldn't put it down. She had already seen the movie and was so excited to read more about Dorothy. I don't know if I would say best it's the best Stepping Stones classic though. There are a lot out there that I would say might even be better."

"The Jungle book is a classic for your kids. I have read this many times myself and read it to my kids. This is a magical collection of stories by Rudyard Kipling. It is one of the greatest children's books ever written. It is not poetry in the sense that its lines scan, but its imagery is poetic and its plot has allegorical features"
