Fan Theory | Stranger Things Eleven Theory | IN THEORY

A weirdly convincing fan theory that Eleven is The Monster could change how you look at Stranger Things. This video explains all the clues and Easter eggs in season 1 that may indicate this theory is true. Will this be proven in season 2?

"As much as I like Uproxx and the production quality they put into this video I found it a waste of time considering that they are trying to argue one of the themes of the show is a fan theory. I mean I guess this is good if you didn't pay attention when watching it but if you're a fan of the show you should know this already."

"This is a great solution. It is responsive and it lays out one such theory with a link to a site for more. Any person looking for fan theories would click this and read more."

‘Stranger Things’ Theory: What If the Upside Down Isn’t Another Dimension But … The Future?

‘Stranger Things’ Theory: What If the Upside Down Isn’t Another Dimension But … The Future? is a SlashFilm article by Hoai-Tran Bui that posits that the Upside Down is an alternate future that they can access because Eleven accidentally ripped a hole in the space-time continuum.

    • Samuel HuntWritten on March 6, 2017
"This theory does seem to make quite a bit of sense considering that many aspects of the series is quite confusing. The author might be onto something as the up-side down theory could explain why some of the people they encounter are potentially descendants of themselves. Eleven does seem to have some pretty crazy interesting powers that have yet to be fully acknowledged in the series so I wouldn't be surprised that she probably got so angry, her sub-conscious may have ripped a tear into the time space continuum creating a possible future alternate reality. "This is an excellent example of a fully fleshed-out fan theory for the upcoming second season of Netflix's hit show "Stranger Things." The theory posits that the "Upside Down" the kids are able to visit is perhaps a full of the town's holocaustic future. The author of the article offers strong proof for how the theory could be true, offering up examples from the show to back up their theory. All in all, this is an excellent example of a fan theory for the show."

ELEVEN vs WILL: Stranger Things Season 2 Predictions

ELEVEN vs WILL: Stranger Things Season 2 Predictions is a video by Planet Calvin that goes into a lot of fun speculation about how some episodes of season 2 may unfold, including a possible confrontation between Will and Eleven.

    • Harry PierceWritten on February 10, 2017
"Part of me thinks Planet Calvin is really onto something with this one and part of me thinks he's reaching in ways that put me in critical mode where I just want to pick apart all the flaws in it. Personally, I am at the point where I think he's someone that you either think he's really picked through the details and pieced things together or thinks he's just throwing things at the walls and justifying them later. Definitely the latter for me."

"Wow! This is probably the best collection of Stranger Things theories I have ever been able to find online. I must say, I tend to agree with most of the predictions made in this video."

Stranger Things Season 2 Theory: Will Byers Has Powers That Attract The Monster

This Stranger Things Fan Theory for Season 2 states that Will Byers may have powers. That's why the Demogorgon was attracted to him in the first place, and that's how he managed to survive for that long in the Upside Down. Discover more about this theory by reading the Movie News Guide article "Stranger Things Season 2 Theory: Will Byers Has Powers That Attract The Monster".

    • David GardnerWritten on June 26, 2017
"This is a theory I hope they explore in season 2, it makes perfect sense to me. It does a good job of explaining why the monster took Will using off handed comments feels like something that they put in subtly to build to it later, or it could be coincidental. "
    • Samantha PerryWritten on October 4, 2017
"This is certainly not a bad theory on what will happen on Stranger Things in Season 2, but this also isn't the most original theory either. I think at least half of what this says is stuff that you've likely thought would come to pass in Season 2."

'Stranger Things' Theory: Sheriff Hopper Is Not Who We Thought He Was

'Stranger Things' Theory: Sheriff Hopper Is Not Who We Thought He Was is a Movie Pilot article by Dan who proposes that Hopper has been working for the government all along. Check out the clues he gives to support his theory.

    • Brian LarsonWritten on May 30, 2017
"While I give the writer an A for effort I really have no idea how this is supposed to work, it is so hand wavy and contradictory that I honestly feel like if it was true it would actually ruin the show. I know this is a show that begs to think outside the box when guessing what is going on but this manages to be inside of a lazier shows predictable box and crazy wrong at the same time. "

Why Eleven Could Be Both Jane & Sarah - Stranger Things Theory

Why Eleven Could Be Both Jane & Sarah - Stranger Things Theory is a video by Planet Calvin that analyzed evidence that suggests Jim Hopper and Terry Ives may have a previous history together. When you compare the timelines of both characters, you will find the same number of years are mentioned in both cases, it makes you wonder why are their timelines so similar.

    • Judy WatkinsWritten on October 4, 2017
"Theories like this seem out of place. Stranger Things has a lot of people speculating stuff like this but I think people are missing the point of the story. Duality is the biggest theme in the show. There are supposed to be some plot points that parallel each other. I mean, this is a show about a parallel dimension. Why do some of these theories feel the need to make everything so literal? By the end of the first season, you get to know Hopper's history with his daughter. His arc "

"Stranger Things is my favorite new show. It's so crazy and mysterious that I can't get enough of it. I love coming up with my own theories, but I also love hearing everyone elses. The problem is, I don't have any friends near me that watch it. So, I came here looking for fan theories from other people like me. I was given the theory that Eleven could be both Jane & Sarah. I had never even contemplated this. I sat around mulling this over for an hour. "
    • Bruce McDonaldWritten on February 21, 2017
"I really want to like this theory but it feels like it relies to much on coincidences to work. The video itself could really use some trimming down and editing. I honestly kept zoning out while watching it because it just slowly meandered on to its point even though everything had sound logic to it."
