"Gripping. Riveting. Fascinating. They're all typical buzzwords for books of this type. But holy cow are they accurate for this one. I can't even imagine climing into a submarine, much less being stuck on one for months. Throw in a war, and we're in "Ain't no way in heck" land. If you're even remotely interested in submarines, war, or history, you've got to read this book. "

"This book is just one more example of the literary masterpieces Michael DiMercurio has written. DiMercurio gives us another look at futuristic technology that may very well appear some time in the future. His knowledge of submarine warfare and the way he uses this knowledge in his books "

"This was one of the first books I read on a digital device. I owned a hard-copy, and started reading it, when a friend of mine borrowed it and never returned it, so I didn't read it again for months. After getting a kindle I finally decided to give it another go, downloaded the version there, and finally finished it. It was worth the wait!"

"Not quite as good as the other books in the series. There we're parts that I found a bit boring, and I kind of skipped over. It was still a decent read, just not as good as the previous books in the series."

"I found Sea of Shadows interesting because of the educational mix within the story. The history of the torpedo and it's role in past wars was enlightening. Edwards is highly qualified to write about war, warfare, weaponry, with a mixture of politics. It will keep your interest until the end."
