"I have not read the book but right now I am very interested in purchasing one for myself, very intriguing piece to say the least. Mystery books with an additional twist of supernatural elements to it is simply one of my favorite things to read about, it just makes you think, and based on the reviews, this definitely should be one up there to consider buying. "I love supernatural novels and I'm an avid reader. I'm not particular a speedy reader as I love to really soak into the novels I read. Secondhand Spirits: A Witchcraft Mystery, was a very engaging read. I couldn't put the book down! I think I read it over a weekend stretch. I really enjoyed the story as it revolves around witches and witchcraft. It was a fun story that was intertwined with mystery, murder, and of course a look at the supernatural. I'll be looking for more from this series no doubt."

"It fits the supernatural but I am not sure how it fits the mystery side of things with this comment. "“Number one New York Times bestseller Hamilton is still thrilling fans...with her amazing multifaceted characters and intricate multilayered world, a mix of erotic romance, crime drama, and paranormal/fantasy fiction. Her descriptive prose is gritty and raw, with a mosaic of humor and horror to tell this complex, well-detailed story. But it’s her enigmatic stable of stars that continues to shine, managing their improbable interpersonal relationship dynamics.”—Library Journal" But seems like a good book."

"It looks as if Fool Moon, a book in the The Dresden Files series, is sort of a cross between a more supernatural-themed book and a more typical police procedural kind of work. I felt like it was ambitious, but sometimes, the characters were sort of cliche. There was kind of a "bad cop" routine going occasionally that I have seen too many times before. I think this author definitely shows promise though."

"Small Favor is a decent book, but nothing that approaches using the word best. The Dresden Files is a very good series, and Small Favor is a good book in the series, but it really just does not rise to any level of excellence."

"Interesting stories for a younger audience. I am from an older generation, so I didn't enjoy this as much today. I would have probably loved it when I was younger, because I was really into supernatural stories and mysteries through middle school. The illustrations and words mesh together well. Get this for your kids, they would probably like it."

"A lot of supernatural books focus on what's going on around the protagonist. They search for answers that are simple and study phenomenon in the outside world. Where this book is unique is it really has the protagonist looking for answers from within and focuses on how his inner struggle is inflicted by the outside world. "
