"If you grew up in the 80's and you were prone to being frightened by the unknown then you know the suspense filled novel by Stephen King, The Shining. The story takes place in a eery empty hotel that is closed for the winter due to the winter conditions. It is the perfect backdrop to the tale of slipping into madness that unfolds. Although not a horror movie by traditional standards, the elements of suspense are indeed terrifying."

"This book is almost like the kid in the SIxth Sense but older. An outcast type character who has supernatural power that he does not understand. It is well written with a good explanation of each character. I found the plot to be a little thin and the book to be pretty average. Not bad to read once but not a classic either."

"Stephen King is a writer who is well known for supernatural thriller books, but the description assumes the reader knows that. The description should be a little bit more detailed and should make it clear that the theme of the book related to what is desired in the problem description. "

"I wanted to find something to entertain myself since I'm usually bored often. Therefore, I decided to try Spook House since I heard it was a good thriller book filled with monsters, murderers, normal characters, and decided to see what's the big deal about it. I would say his book will make you stay up for hours and turn on the nightlight that you once use for a kid as you fall into a deep slumber. It is much better than most thriller books that I have read."
