DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that online researching began to develop back in the 90s? If we can all recall, websites and internet surfing started to take the world by storm. 1999 is the year when Ryan and Chris Finley founded the cloud-based survey software SurveyMonkey in Madison, Wisconsin. Three years after Surveymonkey, another data gathering resource. Scott M. Smith, Ryan Smith, Jared Smith and Stuart Orgill established Qualtrics XM in Provo, Utah back in 2002. In the following year, Net Promoter Score, or NPS, was given birth. It was all because of Frederick F. Reichheld's article in the Harvard Business Review circa 2003. NPS became popular years after that because of the development of online surveys and basic implementation.
On the other hand, online surveying started to progress on Poland in the next half of the 00s. The polish software company MySurveyLab was founded in 2009. It has quickly drawn attention from both small and large organizations and companies. MySurveyLab was also the pioneer of mobile data gathering platform, a.k.a. survey apps for iPhone and Android. But, this doesn't mean that it is going to be the end of both paper and phone surveys as they are still used by some companies and research agencies. Methodology still depends on which is the most efficient and which delivers quality results.
SurveyMonkey is one of the famous survey apps for iPhone. Not only does it allow users to answer surveys, but it also provides an option for members to create their own survey and polls.
