He loves the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, so it'd be nice to give him a book related to that. Balloons over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy's Parade is a very informative book. "As with all the books of Graeme Base, the illustrations are fantastic. I bought "Discovery of Dragons" for my two little girls who loved "Animalia" and "Eleventh Hour." My girls are two and four and the only problem with "Dragons" is that the text is a little long on each page. However we spend a lot of time with this book discussing the images and I think it's an effective learning tool in that regard (having the girls describe the dragons is an effective way to promote sentence construction)."
