Rishikesh is a city in the northern state of Uttarakhand by the foothills of the Himalayan and beside the Ganges River.  It is said that the river is holy, and the city is known for yoga and meditations. There are also temples lining the eastern bank of Swarg Ashram.

    Yoga is just about the best thing to do in Rishikesh. They have tons of yoga centers that they are now nicknamed as the Yoga Capital of the World. Where tons of people travel to their city to learn yoga and be a certified instructor.

    "My yoga teacher told me this is where she went, she said it was an enlightening experience. I tried it and went here too, and she was right. The city just felt holy all over. This is a must try for anyone visiting Rishikesh. "
