"I typically don't read many popular thriller books. The subject matter doesn't usually interest me. However, this novel captivated me from beginning to end. The romance in this novel helped me to stay interested in the book. The relationships were presented in a very real way. In some thrillers, I often second-guess the characters motives because they don't seem feasible. Not in this book. The rich descriptions in the book made it easy for me to visualize the settings. I would definitely recommend this book!"

"Normally I prefer books to their movie counterparts, but not in this case. Silence of the Lambs is a much better film than piece of literature. Maybe it's just because it's dated, but I just couldn't get through the book. It wasn't as suspenseful as the movie, and at times it seemed really dull."

Friends of mine who have read this book who actually work as an accountant were insulted by the betrayal of their work. Reviews were great on the site where I bought this so I had high hopes but at the end of the day I was disappointed by the necessary complexity. Couple that with one dimensional lead characters and a random supporting cast and you get a blah story in my opinion."
