Telugu is part of the Dravidian Language - a language group spoken in Southern India, as well as on parts of Central and Eastern India. People living in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the union territories of Puducherry (Yanam) are known to speak the language.

Born as the youngest of three children, acting was in Phabras blood as he had an impressive lineage within the film industry, his father Suryanarayan Raju is a producer while his uncle, Krishnam Raju, is a Tollywood actor. He made his film debut with the 2002 drama film Eeswar. Prabhas won the state award, the Nandi Award for Best Actor, for his role in Mirchi. He appeared in a Bollywood item song, in Prabhudeva's 2014 film Action Jackson. Prabhas played the title role in S. S. Rajamouli's epic film Baahubali: The Beginning, which is the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film to date, he reprised his role in its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which became the first ever Indian film to gross over S$155 million in all languages in just ten days, and it is the second highest-grossing Indian film to date.
