"This is one of the best traffics apps you can download! I live in a dinky little mountain town but somehow this app was able to know how busy even the most backwater streets are. I was very impressed! I've saved tons of gas by simply following the apps suggestions."

"I needed a traffic app for my iPhone. My friend recommended INRIX Traffic to me. She uses it all the time and it helps her every day on her morning commute. It's a free app, which is great, and works wonderfully on my iPhone; I've never experienced bugs or crashing. It provides very useful information for drivers, like traffic, navigation, and other things. I love this app and recommend it to anyone who wants a robust traffic app for their phone."

DID YOU KNOW?

Got stuck in traffic for an hour or two? If it makes you feel better, did you know that the longest traffic jam in history lasted for 12 days? It sounds crazy but this terrific congestion in Beijing stretched up to 62 miles long. Known to be one of the most saturated countries in the world, China was dubbed to be the mother of all traffic jams on August 13, 2010. The ultimate cause of the spike in traffic? The heavy trucks that were headed to Beij ing. To be at least fair, the Beijing-Tibet Expressway where the phenomenon happened was initially dedicated to be used by trucks exclusively. But unfortunately, due to the influx of vehicles, passenger cars started to utilize the said highway. Anyway, on the day of August 13, a huge number of vehicles were traversing the route, alongside trucks that were loaded with construction supplies on the way to Beijing for road work. Hence, a 12-day traffic jam.

Consequently, studies show getting stuck in traffic results in an unfortunate case--the traffic stress syndrome. It is a case where drivers became anxious when they find themselves in the middle of slow-moving traffic. The worst result? Reckless driving, making them press the throttle, leading to vehicular accidents on the road. The most common symptom of this is excessive sweating of the hands. One step of getting away with traffic jam is having the best traffic apps that could help you find an alternate route. Another one is by leaving your car at home and take a carpool instead, or of course, commuting and taking mass transits.

"I'll start off with the positives, there was a 30 day free trial so I did not have to waste any of my money on it. The negatives, I have no idea who this app is for, every phone comes with free nav and map apps, and other far better ones are free. This app also has problems connecting which makes it even more ridiculous considering Verizon made the thing and it cannot figure out that it should use cellular data. Go with Google maps, Apple maps, Waze, or pretty much anyone else besides this."

"Another navigation app has entered the fray, and it is a good one, although since most GPS navigation apps have to have features that best Google maps in order to be rated tops, HERE WeGo has a bit of a way to go before they do that. The app has a lot of standard features, such giving routes for car, public transport, and foot. It notes various locations and food stops, gas stations, stores. The best feature though is that it can be used offline. It is worth giving it a try to see if it meets your needs better than the major Navigation apps."
