"Have you been sitting there, playing Euro Trucker, and said to yourself "Self, I enjoy this mindless task game, but wish it had even FEWER things I could control. Like maybe the trucks could stay on a track and then only go forward and backward!" Then this game is for you! In the same vein as the other "menial task emulator"s, this one is about trains. Exactly what it says on the tin. Enjoy."

Did you know that India has the slowest and fastest trains? According to The Times in India, The New Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express is the fastest train in India. It runs at an average speed of 91 kmph and touches a speed of 150 kmph on the 195 km Delhi-Agra stretch. On the other hand, The Nilgiri Express is considered the slowest as it only runs at an average speed of 10 kmph. For years, trains have become a popular means of transportation since the 19th century. Today, 40% of world’s freight cargo is transported via trains, and that number continues to grow each year. Furthermore, statistical data by the website Statista presents that the length of the world’s railway network is expected to continue to expand; by 2020 it will cover some 1.38 million-kilometers worldwide. Trains have become a cheap way of traveling compared to airlines, train travel is somehow a way of exploration in a certain country, this is because some rail lines travel through areas that most car drivers normally do not get to see. It offers a much better and exciting scenery that is why it has become a reason why it is still popular up to this date.

"I'm always on the lookout for Train games for my computer, and this one hit my radar recently. I've played Microsoft Flight Simulator before and was very pleased with that way back in the day. This title doesn't disappoint in the same way. There are many options with old and new trains and this would be great for any fan of trains."

"Railroad Tycoon 3 - it says it all in the name. It's a game that lets you basically build a railroad tycoon to enjoy for yourself. What I like most about this is that the graphics are pretty solid, although a bit more for younger gamers, i suppose. I do enjoy it but one thing I would like is to see more gritty, steampunk kind of graphics. Otherwise, no complaints for me!"

"This is a fun and charming train game. The graphics are not that outstanding but the wide array of weapons and immersive action makes up for it. My kids especially enjoy playing it and laugh a lot while playing. But I found that for an adult such as myself I could beat the game in less than 10 hours so it's not a long lasting enjoyment. A solid train game nevertheless!"

"I was hoping that Bounty Train would spark my love for US history. I am dissapointed to say that it has failed to do so with me. It has been interesting learning how to play the game and the graphics are decent but it is not very entertaining and user friendly. Bounty Train may not be a total waste of time but I recommend that if you are interested, check it out."

"This is one of the better train games out there, there is variety, excitement and a good lot of imagination. Its no surprise that this game has won a few awards. The price is great, graphics is beautiful and gameplay is supported in 12 different languages. The game has 4 seasons that explore different ages in the history of travel in different continents and its puzzle like quality lends a certain feeling of exercising your mental muscles, so its not just another game to pass time with. Requirements are pretty decent and the game runs on most regular computers. All said, its great fun for great value and a solid gaming experience."
